Tyler joins Emory Centers for Public Health Training and Technical Assistance as a Training Coordinator working on the MATCH Initiative within the Diabetes Training and Technical Assistance Center (DTTAC). Tyler has more than eight years of experience as a strategic public health leader with progressive project management and public health experience in chronic disease management and prevention, and community-based participatory research and strategy implementation. She brings Department of Public Health experience with her having worked at the Dekalb Board of Health where she managed the REACH (Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health) grant and as an epidemiologist at Cobb and Douglas Public Health.

Tyler holds a Master’s in Public Health in Health Policy and Programs from the University of South Florida, a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Bachelor’s in Health Education and Promotion from Georgia Southern University. 

In her free time, Tyler enjoys watching movies, trying new foods, and spending time with her husband and two young sons.
